A declaration before the Lord
Lord Jesus Christ, I am yours by your unconditional love and the sacrifice of your very self for me. You are the living sacrifice that was sacrificed on the altar for all whom you love. You bore the penalty in spirit, soul, and body. You took all our sins and stepped out of time and paid the full price of the law that was against us. Therefore, there is no condemnation in you, Christ Jesus. For you took all of the consequences of our sin from the beginning to the end and suffered those for us who believe and receive you.
You gave your life for our life. So now our life is not our own, but our life is your life, and we are the redeemed living sacrifice for you by your unconditional love. We have been placed with you at your right hand of authority and of power on this earth by the pleasure of the Father who first loved us.
We are yours, full of the authority and power given by you in your grace towards us. A grace that is justified and created by your unconditional love and the freely given sacrifice of your son, who is the fullness of you in human form.
A declaration by the Lord
Yes, I am still the great I AM, and yes, I laid down my life to fulfill the Law that justly accused you. It is a Law that is holy, and it is the Law that now justifies you because I have fulfilled it, and I have paid its penalty for all mankind. Only I could fully fulfill all of its requirements because it is a holy law, and only a holy being could fulfill it. It is a perfect law, and only he who is perfect could fulfill it. It is a law for the innocent, and only one who is innocent could fulfill it. Its penalty was death and separation for those guilty of breaking any part of it.
Since no man could fulfill it and every man was condemned by it, I became a man so that the law could be fulfilled by a man. There was no sacrifice under the law required for me. For I walked before it in holy perfection and fulfilled every letter of it. So then I sacrificed myself for all men. I took all of man’s sins and penalties on me from the beginning to the end. I stepped into eternity and presented myself as the payment for the penalty of the Law for all mankind from beginning to end. I, the Lord your God, justified them in the presence of the one who sent me.
What I have promised, I have kept, and the promise will never fail. Their penalty is forever paid, and my innocence is given to them. Therefore, they are righteous and perfected in me. My righteousness and my perfection are given to them, and they are redeemed to a greater place than that of Adam.
